The oldest manuscript copy of the Quran in China has been exhibited in Xining, northwest of the country.
Some 6,000 people visit the gallery where the Quran has been on display since January 23.
The copy has 867 pages and is divided into 15 sections, each containing two chapters of the Quran.
It is estimated to date back 12 centuries ago.
Xining is the capital of Qinghai province and the largest city on the Tibetan Plateau.
