Groups of Muslims commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed (God’s Blessings and Peace Be Upon Him and His Pure Family) at Imam Hussein Shrine on the 8th of Safar month A.H.
Mohammed Zahir El-Kheteeb from the Department of Religious Affairs of Imam Hussein Shrine said that the department held several mourning sessions – at the shrine – in which the preachers talked about the life of the Prophet Mohammed and the Ahlul-Bayet (God’s Blessings and Peace Be Upon Them).
In addition to the mourning sessions held at Imam Hussein Shrine, where a great number of Muslims including scholars, clerics, and academics attended, people also held hundreds of mourning sessions all over the holy city of Kerbela.
