In cooperation with the brigade 37, 9th Division - Iraqi army, and Imam Ali Division, Ali El-Akber Paramilitary Brigade of Imam Hussein Shrine has begun liberating the areas surrounding Tal Afar from ISIS.
Ali El-Akber Brigade commander Ali Kereem El-Hisnawi said, “The brigade has begun liberating El-Eskeri and El-Rehmeh quarters,” mentioning that the brigade found a factory for making rockets, improvised explosive devices, and large amounts of C4 explosive ISIS used to use.
The joint operation headquarters has stated that %94 of Tal Afar has been liberated and controlled by the Iraqi law enforcement troops.
