Imam Hussein Shrine has closed the Summer course in Quran for the students on August 21, 2017.
At the closing ceremony, the custodian of Imam Hussein Shrine sheik Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e delivered a speech in which he said, “To see the courtyard of Imam Hussein Shrine full of Quran students is very heart warming.”
The Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority has already encouraged Iraqi families to encourage their children to learn Quran by attending such Quranic sessions.
This year has seen thousands of students from the holy city of Kerbela and other Iraqi cities who attended Quranic lessons and memorized chapters of the Noble Quran, where Imam Hussein Shrine has taken care of the talented ones and developed their skills in this field.
