Surgery for removing benign tumor (Ependymoma) performed successfully

Zain El-Abedeen Hospital of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has announced the success of surgery they performed on a woman, removing a benign tumor (Ependymoma), which was around her spine.

Before surgery, the patient was unable to walk, but after surgery, she has been able to walk normally.

This surgery is one of many surgeries the hospital performs on a daily basis; they recently performed a catherization surgery on a 32-year-old patient, removing a thrombus from the coronary artery, which is considered one of the difficult surgeries.
