June 30, 2017, second part of the Friday's Sermon held at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, and the preacher of the Friday's Sermon in the holy city of Kerbela, His Eminence sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e conveyed the message of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority sayyid Ali Es-Sistani to those who fought ISIS; those who added a distinct victory to Iraq’s victories.
“We congratulate the heroes (soldiers and paramilitaries) on their victory over ISIS, and on their tremendous sacrifices. May our martyrs rest in peace and the wounded ones be recovered soon,” added El-Kerbela’e.
He then mentioned the types of forces: Iraqi anti-terrorism forces, federal police, army, air forces, paramilitaries (popular mobilization forces), sons of tribes, their families who have been very supportive of them, and the logistic supply groups, confirming that such people are the ones who would have the credit; those - with whose blessed blood and tremendous sacrifices - would soon rise the banner of the final victory of Iraq after liberating the rest of the territories that are still under ISIS’ control.
