Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has achieved 85% of the project of installing 300 square meters of small pieces of glass, forming geometric shapes.
The glass has different colors, such as red, green, blue, yellow, bronze, and coppery.
The work has started on 27 May 2017 after dispensing with the Iranian glass installing staff.
The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has signed a contract with Cardenia International Glass Company due to the quality of glass the company makes, which lasts for a longer period.
The interior side of the dome, which is right above the lattice-enclosed tomb of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), will be achieved in the next stage soon.
