The delegation of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has visited Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan where they met up with the head of Muslims of Caucasus sheikh Ellah Shukr Basha Zadah.
Ali El-Qer’awi, head of the delegation, said they discussed a project of opening a cultural center in Baku – Azerbaijan. A Muslim volunteered a piece of land for the project.
He added that the center would have a library in which religious, scientific books, and documents on the monumental and religious landmarks of Azerbaijan such as the holy shrines of some of the family members of Imam Musa El-Kadhim, including Lady Hekeemeh and Lady Reheemeh, (Peace Be Upon Them) in Azerbaijan would be available.
The delegation and the head of Muslims agreed to participate in mutual cultural projects and activities such as the Cultural Week, which is annually held by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in different countries.
