Amid acclamations of joy on the birth anniversary of Imam El-Hasan, son of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Them), the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine decorated the lattice-enclosed tomb of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) with unique flowers.
Special kinds of flowers from Iraq and other countries – such as Iran – are grown at the Imam Hussein nursery for unique flowers and trees. On special occasions and birth anniversaries, such flowers are used to decorate the Imam Hussein's lattice-enclosed tomb and the interior walls, as a sign of expressing joy and spreading the sense of celebrating the occasion.
