Troops of Ali El-Ekber Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Tel Abteh District – Mosul City, commemorated the blessed birth of Ali El-Ekber, son of Imam Hussein, (Peace Be Upon Them).
The commemoration included a ceremony in which heroic things, Ali El-Ekber (Peace Be Upon Him) had done on the day of Ashura, and the way he had resembled his grandfather the Prophet Mohammed (God’s Blessings Be Upon Him and His Pure Family), were mentioned.
Such an anniversary with gaining victories against ISIS in Mosul coincided with the anniversary of the verdict of taking up arms against ISIS, which was issued by the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority.
