Paramilitary commander: Military operation against ISIS discussed with Iraqi Prime Minister to be launched

 

The commander of Et-Tofoof Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Qasim Muslih has stated a new military operation plan to be launched on the right side of Mosul to eliminate the rest of ISIS in Iraq.

 

He said that the plan was discussed with the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider El-Ebadi and the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces Abo Mehdi El-Muhendis during their visit to Mosul.

 

The military operation would be launched by the Iraqi Army and paramilitary detachments, said further Muslih.

 

The Popular Mobilization Forces would announce the victory to the Iraqi people, especially the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority sayyid Ali Es-Sestani, along with the anniversary of the call to pick up arms against ISIS, which defended Iraq, Iraqi people, and the sacrosanct, added Moslih.

 

Most of ISIS has been eliminated, some of its leaders have fled, and the rest of its militant groups have conflicted with one another, added further Moslih.
