Message of peaceful coexistence sent to West Asia

Complying with the directives of the custodian of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the Quran House of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, along with Sunnie Muslim religious scholars, visited the Indonesian Embassy in Iraq.

During the visit, a message of peaceful coexistence and Islamic unity, among all Muslim denominations, was sent to the Republic of Indonesia as the Indonesian ambassador Banbij Antarikso, who admired that, said he would convey this image to Jakarta.

Indonesia is the world’s fourth country in terms of population, and is the world’s first Muslim-majority country.

Antarikso asked to exchange visits in order for the religious leaders to cross-fertilize ideas and exchange experiences, based on the agreement of Quran-teaching courses between Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the Indonesian Muslim scholar assembly.
