The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine held a course on treating children with autism for the staves of the Autism Centers of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
Iraqi-American experts in autism, from Florida's and New York's Autism Centers, lectured and supervised the course. Dr. Shamil Muhsin Hadi, professor at Oakland University, said that the course revolved around treating children with autism and how to sketch the plans of treating them where each child requires a certain plan.
Autism centers of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine have long been working on rehabilitating children with autism; they have rehabilitated the first group of children on October 21, 2016, and successfully integrated them into academic schools.
