Commemorating Prophet's death anniversary

While millions of mourners were going to the Imam Ali Holy Shrine to commemorate the death anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed (Allah's Blessings and Peace Be Upon Him and His Pure lineage), thousands of mourners arrived at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine to commemorate this tragic remembrance.

The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine held a stately mourning ceremony, attended by the Custodian of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'e, and the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, sayyid Ja'fer El-Musawi, in addition to employees from the holy shrine and thousands of mourners.

The mourners attended and the ceremony held based on the famous narration which says that the Prophet said, “Hussein is from me, and I am from Hussein”, which indicates the great rank of Imam Hussein before the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Them). At the end of the ceremony, a preacher ascended the pulpit and delivered a lecture on some of the merits and characteristics that Allah specifically granted the Prophet.
