Months of sorrow end

As a sign of the end of the months of sorrow “Muharram and Safar” for the current year, the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine removed the black cloth from inside the holy.

 

The two months are known as the Months of Sorrow due to the tragic events that took place along time ago, such as the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, martyrdom of Imam Zainul-Abedeen, martyrdom of Imam El-Hasan, Arba'een pilgrimage, and the death of the Prophet Mohammed (Allaj's Blessings and Peace Be Upon Him and His Pure Lineage).
