The Department of Care of the Families of Martyred and Wounded Soldiers, affiliated to the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues its support for the families of martyred and wounded soldiers/PMF in the country’s war against ISIS.
Head of the department Ahmed Rasul Farhan said that more than 2000 food baskets were distributed to the families of martyrs and wounded soldiers/PMF in all Iraqi provinces.
"Some families received A/C units to help reduce the burden during the hot summer season," he added.
Imam Hussain Holy Shrine sponsors a large number of families of martyred and wounded through its Department, which was formed after Ayatollah Sistani’s Fatwa to defend Iraq and its holy shrines in 2014.
