The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has opened its first library in Germany. The library has a great number of important Islamic books that are about Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them). The head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, His Eminence sheikh Ali El-Fetlawi, said that, “Previously visiting Germany; in accordance with an invitation sent to us by Colon Museum to visit the libraries there, we have agreed with Um El-Beneen Foundation to open a library that belongs to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine; therefore, Um Elbeneen Foundation has donated a building for establishing the library”. The library will be established in Colon City where the majority of its population is Arab. Many books that promulgate the knowledge of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them) will be available.
