Within the preparations to receive the millionth pilgrimages in Ashura and Sufer months, the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has installed escalators at the main gate of the holy shrine in order to facilitate the flow of pilgrims.
There are eight escalators which are Japanese made, and the implementing agency is El-Urjoan Company.
