The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has begun to build a new dome for the Holy Shrine, which will be installed right on the old one. The new one will be 6-7 m high. Along with this project, the inner pillars of the Imam Hussein Sanctuary will be shrunk in terms of expanding the area around the lattice-enclosed tomb of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
The project aims at facilitating the flow of pilgrims during the millionth pilgrimages to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
The implementing agency of this project is El-Kawther Iranian Construction Company.
