The Minister of Industry Mr. Mohammed Salih El-Derraji, met up with, His Eminence, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala’i at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine on the 13th of August 2015.
They discussed reviving the military industry in Iraq, in addition to some other issues, such as supporting the national industry and the corrections the Iraqi government has to do according to the directives of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority.
El-Kerbala’i praised this initiative and called for the necessity of reviving such industries in Iraq, especially when Iraq is confronting the terrorist ISIS nowadays. He said further that that will also control the problem of wasting public money.
