El-Kerbala’i Announces Building School Bears Prominent Shia Muslim Scholar

On the sidelines of the global conference on His Eminence Waheed El-Bahbahani, the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, His Eminence, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala’i has announced building a religious school that bears the name “Waheed El-Bahbahani,” who is one of the prominent Shia Muslim scholars, in the holy city of Kerbala.

The purpose behind giving this school this name is to immortalize the name of El-Bahbahani.

Sheikh Mohammed Baqir El-Asfahani, who is known as “Waheed El-Bahbahani,” was a prominent Shia Muslim scholar. He headed the fundamentalist school at his time. In addition, he fought Sophism.

He was born in Asfahan, Iran, and died in the holy city of Kerbala and interred at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
