The architectural staff of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has finalized advanced stages of an orphans’ and women’s schools project in the holy city of Kerbala.
The project is consisted of two buildings erected on a 2850 square meter area: the first building; which is for women; is consisted of four floors, and the second building; which is for orphans; is consisted of five floors. Both of the buildings have auditoriums; for holding meetings and ceremonies, class rooms, libraries, a joint multi-purpose facility, and a basement.
The design of the buildings is based on the world’s latest architectural technology. The project will open next month.
The purpose behind building this edifice is to offer free services to orphans and widows and to support them educationally.
