Imam El-Hasan Cultural Complex, which has been being built, will be the first service complex of its kind in Iraq.
This is one of the most important strategic and investment projects the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has been achieving. It is located near the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
The purpose of erecting such a cultural edifice is to offer people free services and to accommodate a great number of guests. It will have a permanent book fair, halls for studying, a religious school, a multi-purpose hall, a library, a high-tech studio, a Noble Quran radio station, Kerbala Satellite TV Channel, and a children’s electronic library.
The implementing body of the project is El-Ajalan Construction Company; the approximate cost of the project is $11 million; and 36 months is the period of time to completely achieve it. The perimeter of the whole project is 2375 square meters, and the area for the actual building is 1770 square meters.
