Patrick Oliver, a British journalist, visited the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and met with His Eminence sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala’i, and discussed issues concerning the ISIS.
He emphasized that the unknown facts of the ISIS must be known to the whole world so they can realize who they are.
El-Kerbala’i said:
As Muslims, we have stood against injustice and learned determination, strength and intellectuality from Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). As you know that we have been fighting the ISIS; and in this battle, Shia, Sunnie Muslims; Christians, Yazidis, and Sabians have been fighting and defending Iraq.
Patrick Oliver, mentioned:
His Eminence El-Kerbala’i, is a smart, wise and notable figure who has an excellent knowledge of the ISIS; and from whom I have learned many facts about the ISIS, the countries supporting them, and how Iraq defeated them through the voluntary army.
He also called upon the countries to stand firmly against the ISIS.
