The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine witnessed the closing ceremony of the 11th Global Cultural Conference of Martyrdom Spring, held under the title of, “Imam Hussein is a Divine Mercy and a Human Call.”
A stately closing ceremony was attended by the participating delegations: clerics, academicians, multiculturalists, and politicians.
The ceremony was begun with reciting some verses of the Noble Quran, followed by a speech of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, delivered by His Eminence, sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala’i, in which he mentioned:
Such an honor for us to meet with such noble guests who took part in the 11th Global Cultural Conference of Martyrdom Spring. We hope we will meet again in Sha’ban month next year.
He also mentioned the current violent conflict which he described it was originated from distorted thoughts, knowledge, and ideologies.
He said that the current conflict might not stop, and the supporting parties will be afflicted by that conflict one day.
