Imam Hussain's Shrine Media department head Visits Lebanese Information Ministry and meets several Media Outlets

The head of the media department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Mr. Abbas Al-Khafaji, discussed with the Lebanese Ministry of Information and several media outlets in Lebanon, strengthening the bonds of cooperation in many aspects.

Al-Khafaji said in a statement to the official website, "We discussed with the Director General of the Ministry, Dr. Hassan Falha, in the presence of the Lebanese Studies and Publications Director, Khudur Majid, and the Director of "Lebanese Radio" Muhammad Ghareeb, the prospects of cooperation between the Lebanese Ministry of Information and the Media Department of Imam Hussain's Shrine."

Al-Khafaji added that "Imam Hussain Shrine is now considered one of the most important places to visit by Media outlets, noting that over (500) media outlets from (15) different Arabian and foreign countries have documented the massive Arbaeen pilgrimage."

Al-Khafaji pointed out that " the purpose of this visitation was about informing the Lebanese side about the services provided by the Holy Shrine, which is considered now equal to the global standards, especially in Cancerous treatment. Also preparing well-arranged plans for Health and education fields, in addition, it aims to share experiences through Mutual cooperation, for the Media staff, and exchanging experiences in artistic production."

Al-Khafaji indicated that "the visitation included a meeting with the Director of the National Media Agency, Professor (Ziad Harfouche) to see the mechanisms of the Agency's work, and modern methods used in the field of publishing and marketing news, in addition to visiting (NBN) channel and a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the station (Qasim Suwaid)," Noting that NBN channel has a wide presence in Lebanon and covers a lot of Imam Hussain Shrine activities."
