“The Merit of Pilgrimage to Imam Redha” features the title of a work, recently published by the Islamic Research Foundation of the Imam Redha Holy Shrine in Mashhad, Iran, and presented to the publication market. According to the holy shrine’s website, the book “The Merit of Pilgrimage to Imam Redha” deals with men of traditions, who have narrated the virtues of the pilgrimage of the Ninth Imam. Ten correct traditions among these are chosen and mentioned in this work.
The author in this book first represents genuine traditions, and then describes the narrators’ biography and eventually examines their original sources. The traditions mentioned in the book refer to the sources that have been trusted by ancestors of our religion.
Mahdi Khuddamiyan Araee has written this work on the theme of history, conduct and biographies of the Infallible Imams, and Ahmad Rezwani translated this book into English. The book has been published in a thousand copies, printed in duodecimo cut and in 94 pages, available to book and reading enthusiasts.
It is worth mentioning; the Islamic Research Foundation of the Imam Redha Holy Shrine, in addition to publishing works in Persian, including Qur’anic themes and Qur’anic sciences, etc., also produces and publishes books in various languages, including Arabic, Urdu, English, etc.
