Coinciding with the birthday anniversary of Lady Fatima, daughter of prophet Mohammed, (Peace Be Upon Them), Islamabad witnessed the run of the activities of the cultural week held by the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
A stately ceremony was inaugurated with reciting verses of the Noble Quran, followed by a speech delivered by the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence sheikh Muhsin En-Nejefi in which he warmly welcomed the delegations of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, El-Abbas Holy shrine, Imam Ali Holy Shrine, and El-Kadhimain Holy Shrine. Sayyid Afdhel Esh-Shami, Deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine delivered a speech in which he greeted the Awaited Imam El-Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance) and all the attendees on such a special occasion and in such a special event.
