The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine is preparing for signing a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian Organization for Pilgrimage to Ka’aba and Holy Shrines in terms of expanding cooperation between Iraq and Iran to manage the millions pilgrimages to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), according to the international standards. That was discussed in a meeting where the management of Kerbala Center for Studies and Researches met up with the director of the Institute for Researches of Pilgrimage to Ka’aba and Holy Shrines Dr. Mehdi Alizadeh El-Musawi. Both sides discussed having Iran participate in the project of writing the encyclopedia of Arba’een Pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), and it is expected that Iran will translate books, articles, and hold workshops in this respect.
