“He who does injustice shall gain nothing but remorse,” a saying by Imam Hasan ElEskeri (Peace Be Upon Him) that representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, sayyid Ahmed AlSafi mentioned in Friday’s sermon he delivered at the Imam Hussain Shrine on November 16, 2018.
AlSafi said, “Nowadays, we hear about bloody fights taking place almost every day.” AlSafi then wondered, saying, “Why bloodshed? What about mind? What about wisdom? Why do you do injustice?”
He criticized those who impetuously believe what’s said, and therefore, be taken by bias toward their own tribes or people and accordingly do something bad.
“Causing injustice by hurting and killing others that one has an issue with has terrified innocent children, women, men, chiefs of tribes, and tribes,” added AlSafi.
He noted that some people – who do injustice – believe it is of manhood and courage to commit such acts, saying, “Owe to the man who wrongs and terrifies others,” adding that some people don’t normally fight or hurt others, but they get incited by instigators to fight others, and then inescapably live with remorse afterwards.
AlSafi addressed the oppressive, saying, “You – who do injustice, and you know yourselves, – need to reconsider what you are doing and causing before it is too late.”
