Quranic Studies delegation visits Imam Hussein manuscript center

 

A delegation from the College of Quranic Studies – Babylon University has visited the manuscript center of Imam Hussein Shrine in terms of acquainting themselves with the work of the center.

 

The assistant director of the center Qasim Sebbar Hemzeh said that the visit came according to the joint cooperation between the center and the Iraqi universities and governmental institutions.

 

Hasan El-Me’muri, assistant dean of College of Quranic Studies, said, “We are so happy to acquaint ourselves with the manuscript center of Imam Hussein Shrine and its work which takes care of the old manuscripts scientifically.”

 

He also said, “We invite the Iraqi institutions to follow the steps of the center in terms of the means of maintaining the manuscripts.”

 

The manuscript center is the best one in Iraq, and is parallel to the international manuscript centers.
