Efdhal Esh-Shami, Secretary-General Advisor of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine indicated that the Secretariat-Generals of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas Holy Shrines began major preparations for the 11th Global Annual Martyrdom Spring Conference.
In addition, the Preparatory Committee held an extensive meeting to discuss organizational procedures as well as the documentary contest which will launch the opening ceremony of the Conference.
Esh-Shami further stated that this year's Conference is unique due to the attendance and participation of global Religious Scholars, Patriarchs, and poets from various Islamic denominations.
It is also significant to note that the topic of the event will revolve around the personality of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) that influenced humanity despite of race, religion, or nationality.
