The Architectural and Design Committee of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has recently begun the establishment of the El-Huja Basement Project.
Mehdi Felhi Remdhan, Project supervisor stated that the project is dedicated towards accommodating the millions of pilgrims who arrive at the Shrine of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
The basement surrounds three sides of the Sanctuary of Imam Hussein and equipped with the latest air-conditioning technology and ventilating systems.
Remdhan, concludes that the Holy Shrine aims to accomplish the project before the next Arba'een pilgrimage.
