The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i welcomed delegations of Islamic scholars and owners of Islamic Centers from Great Britain to discuss role of Muslims in the west.
El-Kerbala'i indicated there have been various misconceptions and false propaganda by numerous media corporations that spread the wrong image of Islam.
For this reason, in order to change this negative view, it is the responsibility of every Muslim to be a representative and an ambassador of Islam, as well as a reflection of the teachings of Ahlul-Bait (Peace Be Upon Them).
On the other hand, Ali Ridha Redhewi, President of the Shi'ite Scholars Council of Great Britain states that there are over 170 Islamic Center in Britain that spread the proper teachings of Islam and Ahlul-Bait.
