The Secretariat General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine announced the completion of numerous customized cities to accommodate the pilgrims during pilgrimage seasons. For this reason, Adel Shershab, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Department visited the Secretary General Of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i, to discuss the further collaboration between the two side for the creation of more exemplary projects in Kerbala city. It is also interesting to note, that the Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) city opened its door for the welcome of over a million pilgrim this year with cooperation with the local government of Kerbala city. So far, the city has welcome close to 163,151 pilgrim while providing various services such as, 6,000 breakfast meals, 10,000 lunch meals, 9,000 supper meals, and other comforting and relaxation services.
