The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine witnessed the highest number of pilgrims during the tenth day of Muharram for the recitation of the full murder story of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). Ali Kadhom Sultan, Media Department Head states that this is the eleventh Muharram pilgrimage after the fall of the regime that banned the rituals of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) for 35 years. Along with the millions of pilgrims, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i was also present with the crowds.
