The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine made an announcement to raise the banner of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) over all the Holy Shrines in Iran from the first day of Muharram. For this reason, the banner of Imam Hussein is now raised over the Holy Shrine of Imam Ridha, Lady Ma'souma, Mosques, Religious Institutes, Government Departments, and over the sixth-highest tower (Milad) in the world. Hussein Abid El-Emeer Es-Selami, Head of the Festivals and Exhibition Division of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine States that the banner of El-Abbas will soon be raised over the Milad Tower as well.
