The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Museum presented a variety of pebbles transported from Ghadeer Khum; the area where Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) assigned Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Him) as his successor. MR. Alaa' Ahmed Dhiya' Ed-Deen, Museum Head further states that a few of the dear pilgrims donated the pebbles to the museum with the intention of allowing every pilgrim to view the precious stones. The significance of these pebbles is that many religious and historical books narrate that every existing entity in Ghadeer Khum became a witness to the succession of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him). It is also interesting to note, that the reason why Prophet Mohammed chose this land is due to its physiological and geographical uniqueness. By: Ibrahim El-Ouwayni Translated By: Ahmed Ali
