It is one of the largest edifices in Iraq; which will be built for the Noble Quran teaching. It has been named: "Imam Hussein Complex for Quran Teaching". It is to support the religious and scientific movement, as well as the cultural and artistic aspects. Not only Kerbala will have this great edifice, but every single city in Iraq will have the same edifice. The timetable to completely finish the whole project is 36 months. The total cost of the project is approximately 65 million dollars. The project covers 11 acres, and is located on Baghdad-Kerbala road; 5 KM from Kerbala. The aim of building such an edifice is to teach the Noble Quran, and for Islamic studies. The project has two colleges.
