Crowds of the adorers of Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon them) lit up 1180 candles to signify the whole age of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance) including his occultation. The candles formed a sentence, says, "When does the man of liberation reappear!".Such an activity has been named, "Candles Festival", held regarding the blessed age of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance). A great crowd of the adorers of Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) gathered, at the festival, where many officials of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines delivered their speeches, and poets delivered wonderful poems on Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them). Also, a great symposium was held, in which researchers discussed the story of the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance). Translated by: Mohammed Jasim
