The book fair, held by the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines witnessed the closing ceremony, where the Imam Hussein awarded the publishing houses participating prizes, as well as certificate of appreciation, in recognition of their remarkable efforts in succeeding the book fair. The first seven prizes were granted for the best decorated publishing houses and for the best book stands for kids. It is to mention that the book fair, for this year, witnessed approximately 5000 visitors from inside and outside of Iraq, every single day.
