More Than a Million-Dollar Carpet Presented to Imam Hussein Holy Shrine

One of the adorers of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) presented a priceless handmade carpet which is worth more than a million dollars. The 85-year-old Person who presented the carpet Mr. Yedul-Llah Heqiqi Sefter Zadeh, said, "We have made the carpet due to our indescribable adoration to Imam Hussein 'Peace Be Upon Him' It took eight years for the design and eight years for weaving it."The size of the carpet is 5.15m × 3.15m. It is made of silk and wool, in addition that its colors are made of natural herbs, which are permanently fixed. It also has a 100 year warranty that its colors never change. The designs embody scenes of the Et-Taf battle and how the angels received Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). It also shows the cut-off hands of the El-Abbas (Peace Be Upon Him), as well as Ka'ba, the mosque of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him & His Pure Lineage) and other Holy Shrines. He mentioned further that the materials used cost more than a million dollars. The whole period of time to make it took 25 years of constant work. It is to mention that the carpet is consisted of 20 million knots made by faithful adorers who spiritually prepared themselves every single day when they were making it.
