Es-Safi: Responsibility, Industry, & Agriculture Held onto New Parliaments

May 23, 2014. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sayed Ahmed Es-Safi mentioned two important issues:First issue.1. Parliaments should avoid personal gains and privileges, and seek to offer the best for the public interest. 2. Parliaments should be aware of their responsibilities by attending the sessions, as well as partaking in the looking into the status quo of Iraq. 3. Parliaments should have offices where they work at or in the cities which they were elected, in order to familiarize with what is happening by discussing issues with some experts. Second issue. The parliaments should activate the industry and agriculture in Iraq, by funding the entities responsible and supervising the whole process. There are responsibilities held onto all the parliaments, to which they should pay attention as long as they are occupying supreme positions, in which they have to change the status of the country to a better level possible.
