Es-Sefeer Hospital, which belongs to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine now performs major surgeries for free.The surgeons operating at the hospital are some of the best ones in Iraq. Sponsored by the Imam Hussein Holy shrine, some of the major, unique surgeries, which are performed for the first time in Iraq, have been performed by Professional Iraqi doctors. Doctors perform 30-35 surgeries every single day. It is to mention that the Es-Sefeer Hospital has been seeking to attract doctors from other countries in terms of cross-fertilizing ideas and exchanging experiences. A group of doctors from Korea came to the hospital and performed surgeries as well as another group of doctors from Austria, came and performed surgeries at the same hospital.
