The Secretary of the Committee of the archbishops and the head of the Media Council Office for the Middle East Churches, father Yousif Monis, confirmed that Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) had faced the most brutal people ever, who had prevented him and his family from water and food, and then had taken them as captives through an arid desert. He was wondering if there was any sin such a great, notable man as Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) had committed for which he and his family had been treated in that way.
He also expressed his happiness towards the invitation offered to him by the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine to come to visit Kerbala City and the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
He is a professor and a member of the Catholic Media Center. He was interviewed by many foreign media entities and spoke about the grievance of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him), in addition to uncovering the falseness of Umayyad people; who committed heinous crimes against Ahlul-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them).
