This year was remarked with parachuting into the area between the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines.The parachutist was Shakir Mohammed Es-Sa'idi, who is originally from Baghdad, Iraq and a British citizen, parachuted into the area between the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, and on the Imam Hussein's 40th memorial. With this jump, he hit the record of being the first person who performed such a new activity in Kerbala.He parachuted from 2500 feet height.
