On the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Nejef people commemorated such a tragic memorial. They marched in a procession of mourning in Kerbala towards the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine carrying a symbolic coffin representing the Imam Hussein's. During their march, they reiterated some shouts about the second of the infallible Imams (PBUT). It's been mentioned that there are many narrations about the murder of Imam El-Hasan (PBUH). It was Marwan Bin El-Hekem who murdered the Imam (PBUH) through the Imam's wife Ju'da Bint El-Esh'ath by convincing her to poison him. She poisoned some honey and fed it to the Imam (PBUH). Imam El-Hasan (PBUH) passed away and then Marwan married Ju'da Bint El-Esh'ath to Yezeed and gave her 100 000 Dirhams. Imam Es-Sadiq (PBUH) said, "El-Ash'ath took part in murdering the Commander of the faithful Imam Ali (PBUH), his daughter Ju'da poisoned Imam El-Hasan (PBUH), and his son Mohammed took part in murdering Imam Hussein (PBUH)."By: Mostafa Mulla Hethal Translated by: Mohammed Jasim
