Es-Safi Calls the Iraqi Government for Ensuring Best Atmosphere for Pilgrims in Imam Hussein's 40th Memorial, & Urges to Vote in the Elections

Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence his eminence Sayed Ahmed Es-Safi confirmed that the pilgrimage of the Imam Hussein's 40th memorial is annually increasing when millions of people are preoccupied with offering pilgrimage and salutation to Imam Hussein (PBUH).His eminence said, "Now, all the road leading to Kerbala Holy City should be protected by the government in order to protect all the pilgrims, who come to Kerbala on foot, from the terrorist attacks that target innocents, in addition to providing them with the medical requirement."His eminence described the airports, border crossing points, and embassies as the gates of the country for those who come from other countries in order to offer pilgrimage and salutation to Imam Hussein (PBUH), those pilgrims should be offered all the services and be warmly welcomed. He also mentioned the hotel owners, who should primarily take care of the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and treat them at the highest level of morals. He shed light upon the coming elections by recommending all Iraqi people to vote for the best and most qualified candidate that people know. He added, "abstention from elections is not a solution, but voting shall deliver us to a better stage."
