The college of Islamic Sciences held its Third International Scientific Conference in a great presence of many scholars, researchers, and academicians. The president of the university Dr. Muneer Hemeed Es-Se'di said that the conference focused on the Husseinian studies and the concepts of the revolution or Imam Hussein (PBUH). He mentioned that the concepts should be demonstrated academically and reflected by the behavior of the society in terms of fighting injustice and corruption. The Dean of the college Mr. Mek-ki El-Kilabi said that the conference considered one of the women's activities of the college, through which the aspects of the Husseinian revolution should be adopted socially. It's been mentioned that approximately 40 researchers, from various countries, who discussed the Husseinain story. Also, some lectures were delivered by some remarkable scholars.the educationist and a member of the Advisory Council of Iran professor Iftikhari said, "I came to Kerbala in order to have the honor by offering my pilgrimage to Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, also came to participate in the conference."
