Department of Husseinian Rituals, Processions, & Leagues of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas Holy Shrines held the Fifth Annual Conference in terms of preparing to receive the Imam Hussein's 40th memorial pilgrimage. The conference was held under the title of "May Allah have mercy upon those who commemorate our memorial." The conference was attended by many scholars, officials, and founders of the Husseinian processions and leagues. Sayed Afdhel Esh-Shami the deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine delivered a speech in which me said that the honor that Almighty Allah granted us in terms of serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (PBUH) should not be exceeded its proper limits.Due to the constant increase number of the Husseinian processions, pilgrims seem to have a problem entering the comfortably offering the pilgrimage to Imam Hussein on the 40th memorial day of pilgrimage, therefore the of Husseinian Rituals, Processions, & Leagues decided to finish all the processions one day before the day of pilgrimage in order to make room for the other pilgrims to offer their rituals. The head of the department said that the department began to received requests of participating processions, and till now, there are 6152 processions from 35 countries applied for serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
